  • This event began in 2010 and has given over $100,000 to charities in the Donelson Hermitage area. That includes funds given to the host location, Two Rivers Mansion. Last year 1,700 tasters attended and sampled beer from 40+ breweries and dozens of wine labels.
  • The event is Saturday October 15th from noon until 5. Tickets are $35 until Oct. 14th, $15 designated driver. The grounds of Two Rivers Mansion are perfect for this tasting. Sample beer and wine, keep your commemorative tasting glass, take in live music and artisan booths. More information and tickets at tnbeerfestival.com.
  • Two Rivers Mansion was the residence of Spence McGavock, and his wife Mary Louise Bransford-McGavock was the last to occupy it until her death in 1965. It was built by David McGavock in 1859. The original farm stretched from the Stones to the Cumberland rivers and at one time was a Morgan horse dealership. As part of Metro Parks, the mansion continues to be restored and offers seasonal tours and events.
